Rocks and Surf on a Windy Day at St Ives

OIL on hand built deep Canvas 80cm x 80cm inspired by a recent visit to St Ives in Cornwall when the waves were blown in by the wind and the surf was high.  I had been watching the waves rolling up on the beach and was inspired to create this painting of waves crashing in towards the rocks near the Island at Porthmeor Beach in St Ives, Cornwall.
